Muthama lost a defamation suit he had filed last year against Governor Mutua seeking to swindle him of his cash.
In his ruling, High Court Judge Weldon Korir ruled that Muthama’s suit against Mutua was speculative in nature and the court was not convinced it deserved any orders.
The judge noted that the Senator failed to convince the court how Alfred Mutua’s advert defamed him since he was not directly mentioned in the advert.
Muthama had accused Alfred Mutua of slandering his name through an advert that he placed in the papers in January last year which portrayed him as a fraudster.
The Machakos Senator was seeking for compensation from Mutua, which was denied yesterday.
