Gospel Singer Willy Paul has been overheard saying that he will be walking down the aisle. This time for real. Willy Paul who has been on a state visit to Ghana has announced that he will be making his affair public soon.
“I have finally decided to get married, in fact, my girl and I have been pondering over it while I was away, it is time we made it official,” Willy Paul told pulse.
The gospel singer will be introducing his girlfriend to the public in days to come. Wait. Hold that thought. Haven’t we seen like four girlfriends who have claimed to be his women?
In late 2015, the singer introduced a pretty girl of Ethiopian origin to his fans saying that he was going to get married to her. Later, he changed his mind after ‘consulting’ and the wedding turned out be hype of Vigelegele, a song he released in 2015.
It seems now, that the Ethiopian babe has been dumped by the singer who is known for his knack and love for controversy. Willy Paul if his word is to be trusted- though I advice strongly against taking anything he says seriously, will be settling down with an ‘old friend’.
“She is an old friend who I used to know even before I got popular, she is one person who who even used to pay my rent and this has nothing to do with showbiz, if you insist on knowing her tribe, yes, she is a beautiful girl from Luhya land,” the singer told pulse
If my judgement is right, this old friend might be older than him. If she was paying rent for him all the way back in 2012, it probably means she is several years older than him. Which is okay, really. Age is, but a number.
His announcement comes a day after gospel singer Bahati tendered his interest in dating Tanzanian actress, Elizabeth Michael. Willy Paul has been known to create imaginary scandals every time he wants to release a new video.
That is why, all news relating to him, should be taken with a packet of salt, or two.
