Addressing a road side rally in Nakuru on Wednesday, Uhuru said CORD leaders are not driven by the need to serve people but by pure greed to grab power.
He said him and his Deputy, William Ruto, are not merely interested in power but are committed to serve Kenyans.
“As for me and Ruto, we have made it clear that our interest is not power but service to the people of Kenya but our friends in the opposition are more focused on getting power," said Uhuru.
The father of the nation also cautioned Kenyans against electing leaders who lack vision and those who divide them along tribal lines.
"Some people are just out to fulfill their selfish egos and you must avoid such people by all means,” Uhuru said.
He concluded by saying that Jubilee will remain united for the next 15 years and Raila Odinga and his opposition should wait until 2032 when Ruto will finish his 2 terms to get power.
