Join our new party or perish politically in 2017 - UHURU/ RUTO tell all Jubilee rebels.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, warned Jubilee leaders who are opposing the formation of a new party telling them that they risk losing their seats in 2017 if they fail to support the formation of Jubilee Party (JAP).

Speaking in Nakuru on Thursday, the President and the DP stated that they do not have time for threats from within and that they will deal firmly with leaders who are plotting an exit from the ruling coalition.

Uhuru said that Jubilee will not be held at ransom by leaders who have no agenda for the party.

“We are united and are talking about unity. Those who feel otherwise are in the wrong place,” Uhuru said.

Ruto on the other hand called on leaders in Jubilee to follow the party and ensure unity for all Kenyans.

“The party is moving forward. Those that want to be left behind will be,” Ruto affirmed.

Among Jubilee leaders who are opposed to the formation of the new party include Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto, and Meru Governor, Peter Munya.
