Is UHURU planning to withdraw RAILA and KALONZO’s security detail after JOHO?

It appears the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, could be planning to withdraw the security detail of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and former Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka.

Interior Cabinet Secretary, Joseph Nkaisery, has announced that the security personnel attached to opposition leaders will be scaled down just like Governors.

Speaking over the weekend, Nkaisery said the Jubilee Government will reduce VIP bodyguards and noted that not even Raila and Kalonzo will be spared.

Nkaisery’s verbal diarrhoea confirmed CORD’s worst fears that the ongoing intimidation of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart, Amason Kingi, by Uhuru/ Ruto is all about getting back at Raila and that he is their final target.

However, the Opposition has warned the Jubilee Government never to try anything stupid like withdrawing Raila’s or Kalonzo’s security details.
