IEBC has given me the real tyranny of numbers to beat UHURU like a child - RAILA brags

Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, has challenged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to allow the continuous registration of voters to meet its eight million mark.

Speaking yesterday, Raila said more people were yet to be registered as voters because the just concluded voter registration exercise was riddled with confusion and voter apathy.

“I urge IEBC to exercise its mandate of continuous voter registration at constituency centers. These should be equipped with the kits so that those who missed the opportunity can still register,” said Raila.

Nonetheless, the former PM exuded confidence of beating President Uhuru Kenyatta for President in 2017, saying the just concluded voter registration exercise had given him the real tyranny of numbers.

“I am happy our campaigns to mobilize voters to register yielded a few numbers to our advantage. It could have been worse. I take this opportunity to thank all those who responded to calls from leaders to enlist themselves,” he said.
