Speaking in Narok, Governor Samuel Tunai assured the Government’s supporters that Jubilee Party has gained more ground in the Rift than even before.
He said President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, have become more popular in the region than ever.
He noted that the just concluded Kericho Senatorial by-election, where Jubilee floored KANU by a landslide, was enough proof that Rift Valley belongs to Jubilee.
He defended the Jubilee Government’s development track record, saying Uhuru/ Ruto have achieved a lot in the three years they have been in power.
At the same time, Tunai told Jubilee rebel leaders to either shape up or ship out, saying they will not allow few selfish individuals among them to spoil the party for Uhuru/ Ruto in 2017.
He called on rebels in Rift Valley to reconcile with Deputy President William Ruto or else they will be sent to political oblivion.
