Machakos Senator, Johnson Muthama was thrown out of a live interview at Musyi FM on the morning of Thursday, March 17. He was on interview with the station’s Michael Kyalo.
The senator had been invited to the station to address key issues that were causing the down in Machakos county. In the morning show, the moderator according to those who listened to the show was biased and seemed to be in support of Governor Mutua which incensed the senator.
During the discussion, and the heated argument that ensued, the interview had stop with the senator exiting the studio in a fit of rage.

On March 14, 2016 Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama told off governor Mutua. This was after claims that Kalonzo was using Muthama to frustrate the governor with intent of removing him from office.
Muthama said that it was his constitutional mandate to oversee and monitor the governor’s daily running of Machakos county. He went on to say that Kalonzo was in no way involved in Mutua’s political woes.
Muthama has warned Mutua not to drag Kalonzo Musyoka’s name into his blame game, advising him to carry his own cross.
